Antimicrobial Resistance

0 Items

This category invites high-quality research that explores the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) from a multidisciplinary perspective. We welcome studies that investigate the molecular and biochemical mechanisms behind resistance, as well as the structural and chemical modifications that enable microbes to evade treatment. Emphasis is placed on novel approaches to drug discovery, including the design and synthesis of new antimicrobial agents, structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies, and medicinal chemistry innovations targeting resistant strains.

We also encourage submissions on pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and drug–target interactions relevant to resistant pathogens, along with pharmacological evaluations of existing and emerging compounds. Research intersecting clinical microbiology, pharmaceutical sciences, synthetic chemistry, and systems biology — particularly those that contribute to understanding resistance pathways or propose innovative therapeutic solutions — is especially welcome.
